Serguei Zlenko

Serguei Zlenko

A member of the Finnish Artists’ Association
A member of the Russian Artists’ Association
A member of the French Artists’ Association

Born in Republic of Georgia in 1960, Serguei Zlenko graduated first from the Russian Art Academy’s Art School, and later received a Bachelor and Masters of Fine Art from the Moscow Surikov Art Academy. A member of both the Russian and Finnish Artists’ Associations, he is featured in galleries and collections in Finland, and throughout Europe and the United States.
A classically trained artist, Serguei draws inspiration from a great magnitude of subjects, resulting in his painting a wide range of themes. His work encompasses detailed topographical studies, ballet rehearsals and performances, metaphorical figurative works and the occurrences and characters surrounding him. Most of his painting activity focuses on the use of oils on canvas or board, although he often works in watercolour, pastel and clay. His mastery of every technique affords him an overall creativity in each genre. Out of his huge artistic corpus, we can begin by highlighting his figurative paintings, with which his work is often preoccupied. In his portraits as well as in his studies of dancers, he has cultivated a complete objectivity, attempting to catch his subjects in poses as natural and spontaneous as those recorded in action photographs. Extensive academic instruction in figurative and life studies has led him to experiment with unusual visual angles and asymmetrical compositions. By capturing the action of the moment, his ballet dancers are depicted in poses that do not attempt to conceal their physical exertions. Instead, he reveals both the concentration and potency necessary in each performance, whilst drawing attention to the dancers’ elegance and regal poise.

Christine Jean Guyader

Christine Jean-Guyader

member of the: French National Council of Plastic Arts, CNFAP
"Salon d'Automne International ».

I was born in 1952 in Nevers (58000 France). After scientific studies and career, passionately found of painting, drawing and colors since childhood, I finally allowed myself to live my passion in 2007 in Touraine.

Self-taught, but having practiced drawing and painting in several workshops since my childhood, my painting has been first figurative. Paintings of Nicolas de Staël and Kandinsky fascinate me and made me turn to lyrical abstraction and colourist painting in 2007, I then improved myself in this way by frequenting internationally recognized artists' studios as those of Jérôme Tisserand, Thibaut de Reimpré, Peter Casagrande ...

My painting, several times described as plentiful and moving, puts moments of light and life on the canvas. I have exhibited since July 2008 and I got my first award in October of the same yearI I got several first prizes, and was guest of honor in exhibitions.

A number of my paintings are part of private and public collections in France and abroad.

I am, as a professional painter, member of the French National Council of Plastic Arts, CNFAP and of "Salon d'Automne International ».

Sally Robinson 3

Sally Robinson

Sally Robinson is an award winning portrait artist who lives and works in Sydney, Australia. She began her career in art as a printmaker producing screenprints. When she returned to painting, she continued to use stencils to produce the bold textures that are a feature of her work. Stencilled dots, dashes and lines of paint produce a complex aggregation of colour and tone which flicker across the painting’s surface yet, in their juxtaposition, create a synthetic reality that echoes the pixellated way we see the world in the mass media.
Sally Robinson has studied and taught art at tertiary level, exhibited nation wide in solo and group exhibitions, and has works in national and international collections. In 2012 she won the Portia Geach Memorial Prize for Portraiture and in 2016 she won the Shirley Hannan National Portrait Prize.
